Not been on test in a while myself, but last I had heard, Nirvelle was indeed still a member of the Bug Hunter Department within ARK. The only way for Nirvelle to now be a GM, is to be now employed by Funcom.
However, while on the testlive server the ARK BH's have vastly different abilities than ARKs on RK1/2/3, they are still ARKs, and not GMs, unless of course employed by FC.
