This reminds me a lot of the picture of the horse and boy...namely the dog's face of course.

strange to say, most of them make sense even without garfield.. does this mean that garfield is superfluous to his own strip?

Danyoo, nothing has ever been so true.

Now go hide behind the chess club before the Jocks find you.
They call me Goobucket

This is from one of those chain emails a friend forwarded to me. I like it though and am putting it here to share with you all.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You
will have your heart broken probably more than once and
it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight
with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things
an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast,
and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too
many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never
been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset
is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be
afraid that your life will end, be afraid that
it will never begin.

Subprime Nippon!!

The sub prime crisis has hit Japanese banks hard:

Origami Bank has folded.

Sumo Bank has gone belly up.

Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut many of its branches.

Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and
will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank
were suspended after they nose-dived.

While Samurai Bank is soldiering on following sharp cutbacks,
Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in
the black.

Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts
report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where
it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.
