Played Ultima Online till they turned it into Disney Land, I never like pvp and tho I GMed in Hiding first.... the excitement that you may be attacked while traveling around made the game exciting . I also believe you should work for your accomplishments and not just be handed them on a platter... after working for 3 yrs to GM they made the game GM able in a day so yeah I dropped it happily when I found AO .

The closest thing to a mmo that was the first i played was this thing called starwars combine. first full on mmo i played was ao. have tried guildwars and star wars galaxies... found swg too laggy so stopped... and guildwars although good, jsut doesnt suck me in the way anarchy does. And it doesnt have any identifiable community i can find.

I started on AO, got me hooked, and moved around from there.

Wound up back where I started, and like it.
They call me Goobucket

First graphical MMO would be AO, first text-based would be Imperian: The Sundered Heavens.
I can just imagine a group of kids all screaming at me to type random crap and THIS coming out.

Hmm, not sure if I posted anything on this thread yet... But the first MMO that I ever played was Runescape... Hehe, it's been a loooooong time ago since I've played that. I really got into MMO's because of AO (and GSP) :)
