Butter beer.

Real butter Beer is a simple recipe. Melt butter in a pan. Add to Beer. It's Irish in origin and was a dessert treat type thing. Any excuse for a pint I guess. :) About a quarter of a stick per pint is right.

For a "gasp" kid friendly simulation of real Butter beer theres this more complicated version that simulates it without being alcoholic.
(Apparently some people think alcohol is bad for kids. Then again it probably is but then you have the French... Ok nuff said.)

INGREDIENTS:
1 pint real vanilla ice cream (use a brand that includes vanilla seed specks for best flavor or make your own)
1/4 cup real butter, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon butterscotch extract
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 quart apple cider

Dump it in a pot heat it just enough to melt the butter, turn off heat add ice cream while warm and let it melt. Stir and serve.

Watch your families arteries harden as they enjoy this old tymie treat.
Just a lil Fishi3... Glub, Glub.
