Birthday party feedback on main forums...

...both good and bad.

Didn't know if anybody was likely to want to put an official (or completely non-official) response up there or if it's better to let whiners soak in their own slightly sticky juices...

I was trying to find a nice way of saying that you can always send a tell to gridbot from any dimension to check where the party is, but it came out too patronising so I didn't...

The Gripers will always blame someone else for the fact that they didn't pay attention. I haven't been regular online lately and I knew about the parties, that they would jump between Rimor and Atlantian and that there would be a npc giving out birthday loot.

Ultimately you can't listen to the punk ass griefers because they are never going to be happy and will find something to grief about.

The only thing I missed was Gunney and his boys doing the sychronised dancing and Asmodeus spaming us with 1k leets. But thats likely my fault for not being around the entire weekend.

Well I personally think both FC and GSP did one hell of a job and I knew about the NPCs and still did not get the freebies first off for me its not about the free stuff. Shore I like it too just like the rest and if I get it fine if I do not its fine too cause I am here to play a game that is different from any other in social activity and GM participation. FC has been more generous and more active in this game than any creator of any game on the Market . I say stop your whining and just be thankful that there will be another party and maybe you will be wise enough by than to do /tell gridbot say Hey can yu tell me where the NPCs are giveing out freebies.

I must admidt that I think it was poor advertisement before the happening.
Most players look at the event callendar over at ao-universe when they wan't to know what is going on. Didn't see a word about it there.
Nothing on AOfroobs, nothing on channel 42 and nothing on the game launcher.
Most players don't know what GSP or gridbot is and how to get here.

I had a great time, and the whole weekend was a blast, but I read a lot of forums.

I do have to agree with the lack of advertising on FCs part. Usually they do have it in the launcher for a week or so.

As for the whole NPC prize thing. I didn't know about it either. lol But, thats more effort then I remember FC ever putting into an anniversary. I don't recall them ever having anything special to give out just for it in the past.
