Oh FFS! I can't do this at work today. The button that is all the way to the left hand side will not show up in the window. I'm not sure why that is. I don't know if it has to do with the IE version or the flash version. But regardless, I can't upgrade it in any way. :(

I'll have to look at it later.

Solved! Woot, I roxxor.

Wow, two minutes after finding the last crest was all it took for you to solve it? That's mighty impressive. :) I still had a step or two left before I discovered what to do with the crests after finding them.

I'm still stuck on "Double clicking a crest to set it to a symbol" thing. I've double clicked on every bit of that. I used the 4 other websites to correctly position the 4 symbols around the circle and only one needed to be rotated. That's all the further I've made it. So ya, I gave up. Got boring after I thought I was going somewhere and hit a brick wall.

Oh, I had already figured out the theory before I'd actually found all the click spots, it was just a matter of "Okay, which of these three looks right?" and "Click click, it's supposed to face this way..." Dunno if it even was two minutes. I'm good with puzzles. :)

You were so close! (The double click thing was just about rotating the crests. :) ) Soooo close! You're one detail away from solving it! I refer you to the hint. :-D

Huzzah!

A friend sent me the link to a progressivly hard internet puzzle similar to this one. I had forgotten how much I like searching out clues and deducing things. :) Should I share? (Of course I should!)

PS: Cry Gaia is a funcom game? Gads!

Yes, this entire scenario is about a Funcom game.

And yes, the whole "double-click" thing really threw me off too, so if anyone's frusterated on that: No, it's not true. One click is all you need, Firia was just referring to rotating the crests when they're mounted on the circle.

Also, Meenstreek is correct, they seem to have disabled the ability to zoom, which is too bad because I thought that really helped, especially on high-res monitors.

Also, if anyone's still having problems solving it, trust me when I say I did NOT solve it in two minutes, it took me forever to get it right and had me cursing at my monitor for a while because of it, so try to pay no mind to the flexers who hide their keen ability to do forum scans for solution pictures. ;) One of the key notes is that the symbols on the 4 pages Aakasha pointed out are NOT perfectly clear indications of where to place them on the circle you see, but it does indicate which crests to use, and their relative rotations. One thing to note is that the pictures of the circle's 4 slices itself don't line up right if you were to place them together as you see them.

And yes, this is apparently an upcoming Funcom game with the running title "Cry Gaia". ;)

But-but, that's how I had to do it. :P I had to double click those bastards! I just assumed this was true for everyone.

The concepts of the Style made my day. :) I mean, one of my biggest joys of AO back in the day was the style. OH! the style. (On top of the Cyber, and the punk. ;) )

So far, this looks like a winner!
Definately a must watch. :)
