Here on my job we've been following this since the news broke. Our intern (and daughter of my co-worker) goes to school there and is an RA (resident advisor or assistant, I can never recall which). It took us time to get a hold of her (understandable under the circumstances) so it was tense for a time. Luckily she is ok.
Her account of the story:
The shooter was arguing with his girlfriend in the dorm. The RA came to see what the commotion was about and was shot in the head. A 2nd RA arrived and was shot in the leg. At this point it seems he moved to a classroom. He had all of the students line up and he shot them all in the head. Only 1 from that group survived.
I don't know at what point he shot the others that have been reported as wounded and hospitalized. The gunman was killed but she wasn't sure at that point if he shot himself or was shot by police.
This is a horrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and friends of those who were injured or killed today.
