Click Saver?

Postby Desmonia » Sun Apr 01, 2007 4:09 am

I remember a addon that you used in the mission terminal screen.

You could set it to search for specific items or areas to mission in and it was very useful. However, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Does it still exist and if so, can anyone show me the link?

Why is there always time to do it over, but never time to do it right in the first place!

Thanks Nicodar :)

Help a gal out though, where does it go? Do I put into the AO Directory or do I use a new one for it?

OK, got click saver all loaded and it seems to be working :)

Next question ---- MAPS -------

The new AO is pretty to look at and equally as useless as the original map.

I used to use a map made by a player "Dove or Dovves" her picture is in the subway though.

What is your suggested replacement map and can you provide a link? :)

I find this map the most useful:

http://forums.anarchy-online.com/showth ... p?t=417448

Most up to date and detailed one that I know of, and the extra layer showing the location of various NPCs is wonderful! (When you think you've zoomed in as far as is possible, zoom in again and you get a black and white map with pretty much all the important NPCs names marked on it - makes finding the "She'll be somewhere in Newland Desert" ones a LOT easier)

Edit: Which is the one Gimpeline has already recommended, just a different link... whoops!

I downloaded and installed the CSP Map. It's really lovely :)

Question:

The center on player, center on mission, center on shop options don't seem to work. Also, the character, mission, shop buttons are grayed out in all layers. I suppose it's something simple I am overlooking but any help here would be apprciated :)

Thanks,
Des

Center on player should always work. The other two you need to have one to go to. As in for a mission you need one uploaded. For a shop you need to have searched for one on the GMS and selected it.

*shrugs*
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Hmmmm, there is no icon on the map that says "this is me" so I guess that is why it wont center. I haven't tried the other one yet as my click saver as ceased to fuction for some reason.

I've deleted it completely, rebooted my machine and going to try again. Clicksaver was workng perfectly last night :(

I seem to remember I had some problems when I first set it up, I think because I tried to do the install bit myself by downloading the basic map files and copying them into the directotires myself, instead of running the .exe installer version, or something like that...

Ok, got Clicksaver working again and also the map.

The map now shows where I am and as you said when I uploaded a mission it showed that as well.

So for now all is well :)
