*giggles* Thank you! I'm fairly certain I got spanked for entirely too many days there.... 
My friends and I left around 6:30 in the morning to drive over to D.C. for the beginning of the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was a gorgeous day, and the kite competition (or more like tons of kites w/out finding the competition) was really interesting to just sit and watch. But I think the highlight of the day was going to the Sackler museum to watch a tea ceremony. We'd never seen one in person and just thought we were going to watch, but they were actually letting the audience participate by cycling them through the first rows in groups where we were served fresh tea. They even had the sweet served right before it to complement the taste. It rocked. We ended up wincing through Chinatown to shop (yay for buying adorable cherry red shoes) and eating at Ben's Chili Bowl. It was a great day. ((Except now I have to hobble around cause my feet are killing me. XD))
