Ok I'm turning out to not be a fan of snapping into first person whenever the camera get crowded. My major reason is I prefer to control my camaera. Having it snap into first person and stay stuck in first person is annoying. Mostly because right now I'm fighting in wolf form pretty much all the time and first person sucks if your in wold because rather than seeing out of the eyes you see out of the neck which means your own heads are in the way. Yeah they are sorta transparent, BUT! They block targeting! Let me emphasise that

/In first person mode when your a wolf in AO your own heads block your ability to target/

This in effect has gotten me killed several times. I don't want to snap to first person mode ever. If I'm fighting the interface I'm not paying attention to the people shooting at me.

Because in wolf form and I suspect in any shape change bigger than a leet or reet your own size causes you to end up in situations where you snap to first person alot this gets really annoying really fast.

When in wolf form if you snap to first person you stay stuck in first person till you manually go and change it. I suspecy that whatever criterial it is that causes you to snap to first person reads the wolfs own head as a collision and thus keeps you from autoadjusting back ti third person.

Which brings up two questions. Did anyone actually think to play test this in all the possible player forms?

Why do wolves have 2 heads and havong two heads why is their view out of their neck thus putting their own heads in the way.

But those are questions only indirectly tied to the complaint.

Don't get me wrong. I love FC. That they are always trying new things is a bonus. I can see where this idea has benefits. It just happens to mess up the particular style that I play. I want the wolf form because I want the +7 dmg add. But in a mission when theres a small room with a fixture in the center that I need to go around to get at the mob. The new camera control becomes hellish when I'm in wolf form.

I suppose I'll just have to do easier missions where getting the first shot isn't so critical till they fix this. Hopefully it will get fixed. I imagine theres a world of Advy who are upset. Me it's on my fixer I'm having this problem.

So this is more than a I'm not used to it thing/ It's a this doen't work for me thing.

I must admit I hate camera's in any game doing something I didn't tell them to...I get annoyed at ones in GTA dropping down to right behind my car when I go through tunnels.
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

I have to agree with you.
I haven't playd my advy since Lost eden got out.
The new camera is making me sick when I use the kitty
Go into a mission, morph, bye bye dinner.
Haven't had this problem with my other toons before the last patch.
But now with all the camera movments, random zoom, camera sliding out to the side at random, etc. I have a hard time playing any of them without feeling sick. (I can play them a few minutes at the time, but not the advy)
I have tried all the fixes, no-bob, gui fixes from the forum...still the same problem.
I hope they fix it soon. I love the game and I want to play it.

While I understand what is being said that particular link doesn't specifically mention what camera issues are being adressed. Since it no way refers to the thread it's in reply too. It in effect becomes non-infomation. It also gives no indication of how long the next patch is going to take. But if experiance is any indication we are talking at least 6 months.

It's nice to have the official word. Even if that officail word doesn't actually tell us anything.
