Seems like everyone I talk to today did not get a good night's sleep last night. Including me. :(

Meaning? They haven't made a decision yet?

Sorry Dani. I hope you hear something soon.

Wow, that IS odd, I didn't realize this was recurring. I literally got 1 full hour of sleep last night, and just laid there for the other 6 hours freaking out because I couldn't get to sleep.

Today is sucking, yes.

Yep...that was me Tarryk...Staring at the ceiling going "Doo de doo, my alarm goes off in X minutes/hours...I should probably sleep now..." realizing how much my Monday was going to suck because of my insomniatic episode ...

Me too, actually. Insomnia seems to be going around. Even though I went to bed at 3am (and I have to get up at 9) it took me several hours and then some to fall asleep.

Obviously, today sucked. glad to be home. Someone make my head stop hurting, please?

zzzz I would so much love to get a real full nights sleep. It sucks having both insomnia and sleep apnea . I make myself go to sleep every night by midnight. I than lay there hoping to fall asleep I dose off and than wake up for lack of breath I go to bathroom. Try to go back to sleep only to doze off and wake up again this happens about 4 times a night between 11pm and 6am I get up go to breakfast get to work work threw lunch and find my self dozing off again by 2pm trying to get through till 7pm is a struggle for me its seems that is when I want to sleep the most. It really sucks I am going in for another sleep study next month to see why my C-Pap machine no longer works for me. I only hope they find a solution I would so much love to sleep through the night.Cat naps just don't cut it

I used to have problems when I was working from home, on my butt and at my PC all day everyday... I would be awake to all hours, sleeping patterns were nowhere and then I would crash and burn after a few days.

I got worried and saw my GP.. He told me I could try sedatives but what would be 1000% better for me was to get off my a$$ and get active!

I laughed , then thought about it, and decided to try it out (I dont like to take any sort of pills unless it is totally necessary)

It took about a week or so but yes, I started walking for at least an hour a day in the evenings. It cleared my head, relieved stress, helped hugely with my metabolism. and most importantly.. got me away from the PC!

It worked for me big time.. I find myself less inclined to "waste" net time with aimless surfing.. I tend to get on, do what I planned to do then get off and go find other things to do these days!

Simply getting active worked for me, maybe it can work for you too!
The greatest enemy you have though is resistance.. It will be far far easier to "put it off till tomorrow or later" or "Its too cold" BS! Give it a try! You have nothing to lose (except maybe a few pounds)!

I also reccomend a book I have just read and keep picking up again and again.... The War of Art by Steven Pressfield - check it out :)

Dyna you don't know how much I would love to be able to go for long walks or to aerobics again or to go to the dance clubs and shake it for a few hours, I wish with every fiber of my being I could do those things again, I am always telling the doctor just fix me so I can walk with out hurting so badly, he is trying to do just that but as it stands now I can stand for maybe 15mins tops before my spine feels like it will break in two, I constantly am having test and MRIs, my weight is a very big factor , I go to weight watchers I eat healthy, I exercise sitting in my chair as much as I can. I miss Bowling I miss Dancing I miss just walking and shopping at the mall, SO yes I think its wise to get off our asses and get some exercise for sure, and I suggest it to every one that can still do it to do it before you end up like me, THIS is not a plea for pity it is the result of an inactive pituitary gland and it caused many problems before the correct diagnosis . But hell I did have a good and very full active life at one time.

I have been working out a lot more and I am still not getting much sleep either...

I'm also waiting to hear on a promotion from work PLUS with a wedding in one month... blah... I am just stressed out...

I think I would rather not be able to fall asleep at all then to fall asleep and then 2 hours later wake up because I had a nightmare about the wedding bands or the future mother in law ruining my day! And then I can't go back to sleep after that >.< At least when I am awake I can force myself to think about other things so long as I stay busy :P

Hope you get better sleep soon! I am going to start trying the little glass of wine about an hour before I want to sleep trick. It worked before, maybe it will work again. Try it yourself and see!
