Prophet without Honor

I've been looking for a copy with no luck. The book dates from 2001 so you'ld think there would be a fair number out there.

I've located 4 copies. All are hardcover. The cheapest is selling for $85 Can. The most expensive $130 can. The one at $130 is signed by the author. Well now...

I think I'll cross my fingers and hope Funcom reprints it. Seems the books become a collectors item.

If I paid $85 for a novel I'd be afraid to read it.
Just a lil Fishi3... Glub, Glub.

I still have a spare copy that's yours for the asking - I got an extra at Dragoncon planning to use it to entice a friend to AO, but haven't seen them since, and besides, I'd rather it went to someone that desperately wants to read it than someone who might not appreciate it! If you pm me your address, I'll get it in the post.

yes extremely hard to find outside of Ebay/ amazon or the like. I hve the feeling they were limited editions that were more as promotional items at the game launch than to be handled in the traditional book ways also heard there are only 10,000 or less and only a first edition. (even though there is a full version online free to read theres something to be said of owning a physical copy) I did manage to see one in a used book store behind the front counter, in a locked glass case, top shelved, and marked for 275$ US... Collectors item? Yea I'd say so.

They were indeed a limited print, and as far as I know, stock is out, and no reprintings are planned. I have one signed by the author, and that's not likely to leave my possession any day soon, hehe. Would be nice to see a second run in paperback, at least. I'd buy that to actually read.

Always true, but the ink alone to print it would be the cost of a paperback, methinks. And my eyes would bug out trying to read it off the screen, hehe. Still, if anyone actually wants a copy, that'd be the way to do it.

If you are reading it online do so fast, I was told that it would be coming down soon. I also highly suggest doing so while you can, as the book holds a plethora of information that is very, very useful for explaining things ingame.

The book is available in PDF format off the same website, so it's possible to download it for future use :)

WHAT!?! *sigh* please tell me that microlimp and xbox are not going to be venturing onto Rubi-Ka, 'what will come of rubikan life?' *brings out a magic 8-ball and shakes it* "j00 r d00m3d!" *shakes again* "you are likely to suffer technical difficulties" *shakes yet again* "we are sorry but all operators are currently assisting other customers, please try again at a later date" *magic 8-ball hemorages and begins to leak a blue liquid*

*sigh* this is not going to be good.
