New Element Discovered!!

Postby Dynamiks » Wed Nov 01, 2006 7:14 am

A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named "Bushcronium".

Bushcronium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311. These 311 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since Bushcronium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Bushcronium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Bushcronium has a normal half-life of 4 years. It does not decay, but rather undergoes a reorganisation in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact Bushcronium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganisation will cause more morons to be become neutrons, forming isodopes. This charcteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Bushcronium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is called "critical morass".

When catalysed with money, Bushcronium activates Foxnewsium, an element which radiates orders of magnitude, and more energy - albeit as incoherent noise since it has half as many peons, but twice as many morons.

That was funny Dyna. I think I shall now begin using "isodopes" in day to day speach. :)

Pfft and I thought this was going to be an intelligent post. ANYHOW, dynamiks did start this and its up to the one person with the least ability to make a consistent statement without going off on some damn tangent about glucose and the biochemical reaction that takes place in mitochondria while in an oxegen deprived enviroment... damnit did it again.

Now this IS going to surprise MANY if not ALL of you that keep up with the sort of posts I make... but on the topic of new elements discovered, the near mythic element 118 has indeed finnally beed recreated GO TARHEELS! those damn berkeley hippies cant do a damn thing right lol READ HERE: http://www.physorg.com/news80226997.html
