Rimor Revival - Battle of the Bands!

Now I know that this is a shameless plug - but I believe that some events are worth plugging! The Rimor Revival is shaping up to be a huge event, and I hope that everyone fun - orientated will attend the various events!!

And, as you can see, one of the events planned is the Battle of the Bands!
Dress up like your favourite rock stars, dance your hearts out, or simply beat the competition to death in the Bar in Hope!

But plug aside, I was wondering if the GSP DJs would put their number one favourite song here, so we could perhaps compile a GSP HITS CD for a prize. My music collection is....extensive (ranging from music by ACDC to lesser known bands such as the Pillows) and I am sure that any music I don't have my drummer housemate will have!

So go on! Put down your favourite songs! And show your support for Rimor by showing up!

Cool beans. It's really hard for me to pick a fav song.. I have so many! Let me think about it and I'll get back to ya. There might be legal concerns with givin' someone else music.. you could have a few bands/songs listed and someone could win a CD of that band or containing that song, that wouldn't have any legal problems since you'd be sending them the original CD not a digital copy of it. If ya can think of a way around that, lemme know.

Hmm. Crap.
I didn't even think of that. Music is becoming such a free-range commodity that I didn't even begin to think of the legal implications behind giving someone else a cd. Heck, most of my music is my friend's music - now don't get me wrong! If I like a band, I buy their CD...up to and including importing CDs like the Shadow of Colossus soundtrack, or the Katamari Damacy soundtrack!

The other idea was a compilation of Epicene episodes...which should all be under Tarryk's ownership, right? I'll take a look into it, and perhaps ask my lawyer about it.

But I think that if we do do a music CD, perhaps just picking a "favourite" out of all the DJs, something you can all pretty much agree on, would work nicely (with something of a GSP personal touch added too?)
