yeah I didnt do the desktop image, I have no photoshop skills whatsoever

but to anyone who can answer me this, is there something I can use to kinda be a taskbar, I hate looking at the ugly windows one.

Edit:

for those who use object dock

click dock config

and dock objects

and dock taskbar enabled, and no need for task bar

Great desktop Dani!

Saw a trailer for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe when I went to see Serenity, and it looks quite good. As does the new Harry Potter moview which I absolutely can no wait for and will, more likely than not, but the next movie I see in a theater.

Aaox, very cool.

Tacz, I think you have more icons than I've ever seen on a single desktop in my life.

My new desktop background! Replacing Bloodrayne with April Ryan from Dreamfall.

Is it just me or did April Ryan get like super hot since The Longest Journey.
And her Goth look is to die for.

I based this image on the official 1600x1200 wallpaper, which was white.
I cut out a 1024x768 part and used that to get a nice "closeup", upper body shot.

Turned the white black, went over the edges to get rid of white egde leftovers.
Did some image sharpening, two saturation adjustments, added a "shine" effect,
and turned the gamma down to 0.75.

Realized I'd missed a few white edges, and had to crop those out afterwards. Not really noticeable unless somebody has their screen brightness set to "I'm half blind". My monitor is somewhat tuned for movie and photo color balance so a bit darker than most though. (i.e. black really IS black, etc)

Why did I do this? Well, there was no black background wallpapers on the official site,
second, shes a looker ain't she. I just love the artwork the origial artist did, awsome.

And now you can use this background too if you want.
Attached as PNG so you may have to convert it to BMP to use it on the desktop.

ok i change my desktop pretty regularly but this one seems to have stood the test of time. Basically i think shes hawt! lol If not something like that its usually Belldandy from AMG or a dragon or wolf (very into those).

OMG Ricci NIIIICE picture!!! (that IS Christina Ricci, right? Or just looks amazingly like her, if not a bit too airbrushed). I want that wallpaper.
