Yeah, see, that's kind of the problem. I would never leave my room if I had an image like that. Hell, I wouldn't even be able to play AO because she would be all hidden away and stuff. :)

After installing a few of those nifty programs and messing around with them, this is what I came up with. I looked at many different wallpapers to use, but I just can't part with this one lol.

Well considering that this is the second time that I've lost a full 5 minutes staring at that wallpaper, I would have to agree that I wouldn't be able to part with it either. :)

hey all ....i use styleXP ....i used to use window blinds but it uses a lot of resources ....espeacially if you play games and use adobe photoshop CS8 and AO and SL all at once....and well....lol....other multitasking things that you may do. StyleXP however doesnt use any resources ,well you can set it in the options to use no resources. :) I like that one much better than WB. it has options for all kinds of things. but as of my current screen using only stylexp this is my desktop at home.

Pre cool there! I used the trial for StyleXP...can't remember if it shut itself down or if it was just spamming me with registration crap or if I just didn't bother reinstalling after a system slam, but I stopped using it a long time ago.

I'll have to go check it out again, looks groovin'. And I'm always fighting the battle to squeeze out that extra drop of system resources on my sub-par system. :)

Well, I did a bit of tweaking, tried windowblinds and the dock thing... my screen is so much neater now. Woot!

Oh, and the first person to correctly guess which of the dock icons is Anarchy Online gets a cookie.

I'm using Windows XP (bleh!), modified with Windowblinds and ObjectDock... Decavolt linked to them earlier in this thread. It's neat stuff. ;)

Yeah Object Desktop & Windows blnds are very neat indeed.

I used to change my desktop 4-5 times a day but I think I found one I can stick with for a while.
