Stop multitasking this very instance! You're giving us a bad name!

And at work...given that I have to stare at this screen for 12 hours a day, Jewel Staite is the only...plausible....choice.

Yeah I played the card game religiously through the alpha and beta sets back in high school. Still got a few decks and some alpha cards worth some phat bucks. Remind me to tell the sad story of my alpha decks some day. :)

The video game absolutely rocks. I got Magic Online a while ago and tried it, but I couldn't stand it. The play style was SO convoluted and I didn't want to subject anyone to me having to read every single card that was in play, it seems that being a noob in there with all those post-beta cards and expansions is hellish, I don't even want to subject myself to it. So I stick with the single-player game (with the Planeswalkers expansion), because it's still to this day the best strategy game in existence, great for killing an hour of thought. :)

I played Magic back then as well(though for me it wasn't quite high school) but sold off most of my Magic phatz years ago. Gone are the Moxes and the Lotus I used to have. And as for decks, in the beginning the few folks I played with and I didn't exactly yet know the concept of crafting a 60 card(or whatever number) deck, we played with decks of large amounts and all random cards we had.

Magic is the bomb, I'll agree, but it evolved much like MMO's do: adding adding and adding, imbalancing and destroying, until finally it's tens of thousands of card types and the original alpha & beta sets are gimped.

I'm not a fanboi for magic enough to memorize that many cards. The few thousand cards in the expanded M:tG PC are all from the first few generations, and with the deck-builder function I still enjoy designing new decks and pitting them against each other once in a while. Been doing it for years and still have yet to create the unbeatable deck. Which, of course, cannot ever truly be made, but it's fun to try. :)

-raises hand- I play magic too. I have way too many cards lol, I'm talking boxes full and I can't find anyone to play with lol. So I ended up playing Magic online. I was introduced to the game a long time ago by one of my co-workers and I loved it, we would end up playing at work and ignore the customers.

Here's my current desktop, the taskbar of course is auto-hide to further confuse PC users trying to use my system.

My desktop here at work: (drawn by Tascha, a friend of mine from my art board). One of the things I LOVE about WinXP is that you can turn off desktop icons. Since I use my taskbar menu for all of my shortcuts, it's nice to be able to enjoy my desktop image without icons all over it.
