GridStream on IRC

Postby Tarryk » Wed Aug 13, 2003 6:04 pm

I've installed mIRC (www.mirc.com) on my work PC.

Which means I'll be glancing at it once and a while between 8am and 6pm EDT Mon - Fri.

the server is irc.funcom.com - port 6667
channel is #gridstream

Any other staff or listener is welcome there, of course.

Drop me a line there and I'll probably see it eventually.

(think of it as the "chat line" to these forums, hehe)

Yeah, honestly Firia and company, you treat this like a chat room.

Yep, there are all kinds of ways around proxies...I know, I have to find them and shut them off on a daily basis...well most of them...did I think that out loud?

By the way, if anyone is interested, the new trillian ... 2.0x ... works great, not only for IM but IRC as well.
Reality is nothing but a collective hunch.

mIRC claims to cost 20 bucks, but it doesn't. It will just popup the site every now and then saying you need to register...just close it.

My default nick on IRC is 'Logan', secondary is 'Lo', and tertiary is 'Nomad.'

Just in case people in there are wondering who I am on the forums. Too lazy to change it in my preferences and/or enter "/nick Irishguy" every login..
