Ive had a flu shot, and thats what confuses me. Nonetheless Ive had the flu two times before...

there are 4 strains of the flu running around this year, and the flu shot only protects against 3 of them. the 4th one is very resistant to the vaccine, and also cropped up after the vaccine was in production.

But thankfully... the 4th one isnt that brutal, and not super-common.

Flu happens. (the trick is milking the flu for all the attention you can get)

*isn't a believer in flu shots* They never work for me. They didn't help my Blues in the playoffs last year. Screw them.

Youre right, this isnt terribly brutal. Its Afternoon Nov. 1st, and symptoms arose second period yesterday, and most of it is gone. Im still pretty immobile, but the joint pains and migrane are gone.

I hate bein sick... I'm only ever sick once a year or so... But when it hits, it hits bad!
Got a warning from school as well, I was sick for 2 weeks back when this semester started, and they thought I was skippin... I wonder why? :wink:

I've never gotten a flu shot, and I think I have only had the flu once or twice within the last 10 years... So, I dont worry about it
