Flashpoint was awesome. The dynamics of the game just made it sweet. I was a Lieutenant General in my clan for Operation Flashpoint, and it took me a year to get there =D

My sad affair was like the russians.. But it took me a year too. :D My turning point was a big excersize with the clan USP, where we were practicing tactics against the computer. I go prone, and with Blackops direction, nailed a russian from about a mile/kilometer away, 3 round shot. =D

Weak, then formed a powerful clan, then that disbanded, then another clan formed up, then that did, then a uber-powerful one came...and that crashed.

In curiousity, what clan were you in Tacz? I was first in United States Paratroopers (USP), then 121st Armored Brigade, and finally the USSR.

But yeah, flashpoint kicked ass. :) I'm awaiting the sequel, but I loved working with the editor, even getting some nice missions up (Black hawk down is next to impossible, due to the size of the city and combatants, so I just opted for patrols and attacks, ect.)

If we spoke in l33t, we were shot =D

We were strict, but we were really REALLY good at CQB and we had an insanely good sniper too. I was a bomber pilot, but I can hold my own if you toss me a M60.

Hmm..name seems familiar.

Chief, Blackop, Adun, Shalashaska.

Any of those names ring a bell?

Whatever the case, it was strict as well. USP was paratrooper based, so we worked with a team of "Blackops" (named after the leader, blackop), Pilots and gunners (Gunners also flew the apache/Cobra if need be). It wasnt much for anti-tank work (I could drop a crew, and they do the job) but we were very good in infiltration style work. We focused extremly on accuracy, since after all, we dont have tanks, rather just ourselves and if were lucky attack helos.

The overall best one I was in was defenatly the USSR, till the end when we sucked ass due to inside arguments. ^_^

I was flying high and mighty, ripping up a base of my enemies (It was 3-3, everyone from USSR in a skirm) in a stolen cobra....hahah, when I got nailed by a simple RPG, something like 500 meters above, near the clouds.

But it had the best tactics, always someone in the air to cover us, tank teams of two, and unit workings...Haha, Nostaliga. I'm going to shoot up OPF again. ^_^

I lost my CDs.

why... WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

None of those names seem familiar, sorry =/

[AFF]Gang[Ldr], [AFF]Airforce[Ldr], [AFF]Firestorm[LGen] (haha, still my E-Mail address AFF_Firestorm@Hotmail.com), [AFF]BoReD13[MGen]...

Recognize any of those?

Now that I think of it... OFP would be pretty cool for RKVA!

I mean, we still play gmaes about knights and castles and stuff.

I recognize the Tag, I think we skirmished you a few times, might have argued over something in the fighting, dunno.

But Yeah, OPF would be nice for RKVA, but the problem is the massive distance most maps have, and that "Co-op Work" (Best for 2 people to have a tank/helo/jeep, not 1 person).

Wait...

Was it desert city, and one of your snipers kept spawn killing us relentlessly so we got angry and said we'd leave the match if he didnt stop so one of your guys joined him an dwe couldnt last a second so we got major pissed and our leader used an admin command to launch a scud at both bases so the match was over?

Wow, run-on sentence =D

Never knew how to use a SCUD, so I dont think so.

I think it involved tanks and the age old Base-rape (There was a great map, every 10 something minutes, the whole base would regenerate to what it was before), and an unfair map, like we had this sprawling base at the bottem of that Koujive Map, and you guys had a tiny fort at the top of the hill.

We fought you, thats all I remember. :?

Hmm I think All Of These games DONT fit the thing.... lets get a production team together to make a game to fit this, a simple game, but still action packed, with the guns being like the ones in CS, how they recoil and stuff, you can wear tanks and all the kinds of armor in AO, there are different guns you can pick up (just like goldeneye, all guns are from AO).

How about that? I would take time, but would certainly add up to the greatness of AO. also, we could sell it and give the profit to FC to add on to AO funding. it'd be a good idea all round, but would take time.

  :?

Uhm... This might seem harsh... And please don't take offence... but you're how old?...

This thread has gone WAY of line... can we keep it constructive?... we can chat on all the other threads... this one is generally for the birth of a VERY good idea... so let's keep that in mind shall we?... By ranting on like this, we postpone the idea instead of helping it along, as in the end, the guy in charge will simply stop readin it cus it went of into som'n else... and might miss any good idea's that pop up... So can we just consentrate on the matter at hand?...

Forget the selling part, but... that would be a good idea... wouldn't it?

I Am Thirteen Years Old. I Have Lots Of Ideas. I have already figured out many things, much more than you did at 13. I was born February 8th 1990. :!:

Giving a bad name to us 13 year olds *cough* Hmm? What? Sorry, I was sneezing. Jk =D What do you mean by "Figured out"?

Back to topic: Now that I own it, I think Q3A is the PERFECT game for this idea, with no need for anything else without it getting overly complicated.

I know I've been a bit scarce the past few days, but progress is being made.

I have a nice and fast server for Q3A being set up as we type. :)
