Just wanted to Introduce myself.

Postby RokJin » Fri Dec 03, 2010 3:02 am

Hello, I just thought I would introduce myself to the GSP family an listeners.
My name is Jon, aka RokJin I have been listening to you guys for many many years its been a wile an there are DJ's that I do not reconize I still remember when FoxyJamma was still around (please correct me if I spelled that wrong). But I thought this would give me the time to let you all get to know me, I currently live in Grand Rapids Michigan, I am a southern born guy from Texas. Music is what I have always wanted to be apart of, when I go to the clubs an see the way people just move to the music it makes it all worth wile. That is one of the many reasons why I applied to be apart of the GSP family, an become a DJ so I can move the hearts an bodies of the people. Because as you all said on Monday, "With out the listeners Dj's nothing" an that is so true with out the ability to move the bodies an minds of the listeners there isnt anything. That is why i wanna be given a chance to move the soul an minds of the listeners. Another things about me though is that I am currently in the military (Army National Guard), an my unit is getting ready to deploy over seas to Afghanistan, dont know if im going to be going yet or not personally because of my set of mind where I give respect to the ones that give me respect. Any questions please email me or catch me in game (RokJin). Im sure GSP has my email from the application haha

Welcome to you.
Good luck in your goal and remember the best way to get into the DJ stream is to sit back enjoy and converse with everyone you meet at GSP.

Been a fun part of my life for a number of years. Darn happy to have met my RK1-4 freinds.

Best of luck overseas. I was out by the time things really hit the fan but some kind of connectoin back home makes deployments much easier. DJ or not theres a number of Military who are fans and can always give you a piece of advice or word to calm the nervs.
GSP really helps to ground you when stuck halfway arround the world.
They call me Goobucket
Bad music is everywhere, therefore good music can be found anywhere. (It just takes a little longer to find.)

Yea, what ever happens if I do end up DJing with you all or not ill never stop being a fan an I most defiantly will at least stay in contact with you all. Great people, great music. An if any one does have any advice please feel free to share, anything will be most appreciated. An thanks Cheese an Joan I will do my best to tune in as much as possible like I told you Joan I had my bulling ally hook my phone up an play GSP though out the whole night wile I was there from 10:30 till 2am every one loved it an now I got some people hooked on GSP. But no matter what GSP will always be my number one radio station, GSP has the love an passion for the music that alot of people I know dont have.

Keep up the great work every one, an never let the music stop moving you.

I feel exactly the same, and that's just what attracts me to GSP, too. There are far too many people in the world that lack a true appreciation for music. I can't imagine that kind of life. And I'm so glad to have found GSP for that (and many more) reason(s)!
