Does creations include things I have crafted? (as opposed to drawn?)

I'm not an artist, I can't draw cool pictures, but I make stuff. If this doesn't classify as art, feel free to remove :)

This is made of LD45 foam, latex, and poster paints (for use at LARP events)
Image

And a 'Volley Gun' made for a Steampunk LARP (Yeah, I LARP a lot, most of what I make is for LARPs)

As I said, if this isn't art then please remove :)

I specifically used "creations" for that very reason. If you made it and want to show it off to GSP crew and listeners, go right ahead. If you play League of Legends, think of this as art/item submission section the Summoner Showcase series on youtube. :D

Being as i don't larp, How strong is that sheild? Is it only taking like the misc bean bag hit or something or is it taking thwacking. Either way I thought it was Steel at first glance.

Also is the detail carved into it, or did you cut it out of a sheet than glue it ontop?

Also that volley gun looks like it would make quite the melee weapon :D

The shield is about 2" thick foam similar to the foam that camping mats are made of, glued in 3 layers. If a real weapon were to hit it, it would probably bend and flex and come apart, or be heavily cut up, but it regualarly takes a beating from LARP weapons.
The Volley Gun is darned heavy - there's about £60 worth of off cut piping and assorted plumbing bits in there, so if it hit someone it would hurt. (The trigger is off an old wheel lock pistol, and the Stock is from an old rifle, the front furniture I had to made myself from a scrap of wood in the shed.

Very cool. I have a pepakura mask in the making, so I have a vague idea how much work went in to that building construction. Kudos.

As well as Shields for LARP I've made other stuff too:
Belt Pouches:

armour and swords:

No prizes for guessing the inspiration of this armour set (this is the first stage - it now has thigh and shin armour, a and forearm mounted crossbow

To match with the shield (they were made for the same group / faction as the shield) I also etched the logo in to two segments of the armour
