Are any themes compatible with Windows 2k Pro?

Yeah even CursorXP says that it's compatible with 2k, so all of it should work fine.
And I can't prop this cursor up enough. The animations are flat-out wicked.

That is TOTALLY stylin', Merkaba, rock on!
(nudge-nudge, try that mouse cursor!)

Y'know, I first typed "yeah and I don't care for it", but then went and grabbed it just now and realized that I'm apparently dreaming things up that just aren't true.

This one might just be usable on the long-term, being the first decent-looking winamp skin that I can still see all the buttons for.

Tk, I've got CursorXP Installed, but how do I make that mouse skin work? Do I need to set it up manually?

If you go to that link and click download, the file it sends you is a CursorXP theme, so it should automatically pop up with the option to open the file with CursorXP (so long as you have CXP installed, of course).
After which point you can open, change, and save your CXP theme settings by going to:
Control Panel > Mouse > CursorXP Tab

This was cluttering up the Desktop thread, so I split it off.
You may want to re-post that desktop pic over to that thread, Merkaba, sorry bout that.

Merkaba, that's quite a slick looking desktop. Is that winblinds or something?

Each theme is for a specific background program that windows runs. Most of the basic themes we've talked about is for Windowblinds, which you need to install first, and then install windowblind "themes" into it that you can switch around with. Head to the website listed for each type of theme to get the program to install that theme.

Ooo, I just got an idea.
A Tarryk-themed winamp skin.
It's just a picture that shows his eyes, the top of his nose, and his eyebrows. When you move the mouse it follows the cursor. When you click on certain spots it enables the various functions such as playing, pause, and stopped. These functions are visually displayed through eyebrow expressions. Such as play having the eyes as cross-eyed, or paused with the rock's eyebrow going on.
Also, the skin has additional code implemented via plug-ins. This plugin reads the ID3 tags of the music you're playing. If the genre is one of the songs that is on Tarryk's shit list, the Tarryk Winamp Skin will give you a funny look and switch to a more appropriate genre of music. Whatever the Tarryk-themed winamp skin is in the mood for at the moment.
If you're not careful, and you let the Tarryk winamp skin play in shuffle mode while it has access to your media library, it will rock your face off.

Easy enough, Kryat. Set your screen exactly as you want it to look, and hit your "Print Screen" button. Then open Paint and paste it in, Save As > Jpeg file. (if that's what you were fuzzy on, anyway)
Also, another outstanding animated pointer set for CursorXP:

Using that one at work now, very slick.
