My dad has a puppy that I love to babysit, because he's adorable, well behaved, well trained, energetic, and did I mention adorable? My dad carries him in a backpack while arrowhead hunting around Texas, and he's very rapidly outgrowing his Pooch Pouch. His name is Bucky, and he's an AmStaff. My mom just sent me these pictures today!

Yep, "adorable" is definitely the instant spring-to-mind word.

Followed by "awwww".

I'm not a dog person, but I can't help but wrestle & tease the energetic ones (so long as they're well domesticated of course lol).

On top of being adorable, he's amazingly smart for a dog. He never needed to be house trained, when my parents brought him inside at 5 weeks he'd wobble over to the door and bark to be let out. He's the master of the 'puppy dog face' when he gets yelled at, and he obeys directions better than any dog I've ever seen. He's finally big enough to pick up his food dish and he'll bring it to you if he's hungry (he kinda trips over it, I wish I had a video camera sometimes). I never would have expected him to be so smart or learn so quickly, his mother isn't anywhere near this quick.

I am very much not a dog person(search & find the pics O my kitties as proof) but that guy is cute.

My mom has pictures of him sleeping ON the family cat, and vice versa. They play together and sleep together, it's kinda frightening.

"Dogs and cats sleeping together!"

I'll have to get her to scan in some of those pictures to show.
