The point of this thread, is to promote more drawings (PMD).
Keep comments and discussing to a minimum unless you also add a drawing in the same post.

To start things of, here is one dedicated to, and named after Firia. (She got me started on drawing again, so it's only fair)

Your little group needs a song though, something to chant while waiting for more drawrings methinks. I shall supply that.

Pirate Pirate Princess, we're calling out your name
Pirate Pirate Princess
We draw, sketch, paint in your name

Now I'm not sure if I can be a member for it might get in the way of my membership in Citizens For the Starland Vocal Band Who Like To Look at Things That Make Them Guffaw or CFTSVBWLTLATTMTG

C'mon ya'll!

*prods Katy, among other hidden artists out there*

Got my scanner going, finally. Sketch is simple, not a lot of anything but lines... plan to color it one decade.(after my long list of current projects are done anyway!)

Wow nice stuff Deca! Obviously you are less a classic artist & more the cartoon variety. That's fine, cause it's probably your calling & besides you clearly have a great talent for it. I myself have nearly negative drawing talent. Possibly I'll post the drawing I did the other week to prove that to you all. It was a simple drawing of a simple object done at work on a Post-It, but at least it was inspired by a certain Pirate of royal descent.

I know. Lauri always blows me away, even with her unfinished sketches. I'm so untidy in my art. =|

Gold, Deca, just gold! I bow once again to your tooning-talent. :D

Boo, that's a beautiful image, the contrast is very moving. :) (and thanks, but what you may call "untidy" about your work I call personality! Me, I'm just impatient ^.^)

Well, if I can actually wrestle to composition of that particular work into submission and do the fullsized painting it is intended to become, it should be a lot more tidy. Acrylics and airbrush are far more tidy than pencil.

Basicly, I've been combining my usual core of Gorey-esqe influences into a framework of asian-inspired artwork that is combined of old Japanese paintings and modern manga figure drawing. They don't like to play well together, but I'm finding that the synthesis of influences is irresistable to me.

Evolutions in personal style are always so awkward at first. Bleah.
