Mystery Man!

What's my in game name? Guess and you win... eh... nothing at the moment. But when I get my account reactivated I'll see what I have and give you something nice. DJs feel free to participate and if you win I'll donate some creds for a contest or something. I don't know how many I have.

My characters may have even been deleted. It's been a while. But the reason I'm coming back to AO is it's the only game about which I can say regaining all of my levels will actually be -fun-.

Hint: Level 100-ish Opifex Agent, known for requesting Metallica - Whiskey in the Jar.

No.. You don't win if you name my (obvious) alt, "Irishguy".

(I finally found a pair of Real-Life Keelarr Sunglasses...)

Hehe, give it time :) Some people have to drool a little, pass out and stuff like that :) That and it's holidays right now, so all the regular visitors may not be lurking around as much as usuall.

You remind me of an actor I think. Dunno which movie, or which name.

Anyways, glad you posted the pics, always fun to see a face behind the name hehe :)

At times I wish that I actually had some sort of defect with my eyes that made them overly sensitive to light, so I would be required to wear sunglasses to see clearly. The bonus to that is the fact that I could then wear sunglasses at night, and if I took them off I could see in the dark.

If possible. My hometown of Cornville, Indiana is at the center of some sort of odd weather nexus (We had freezing rain after the first bloom of spring once. Newborn flowers were totally encased in ice. We also had one week where it snowed, next week average temperature was 80, and the next week it was normal rainy spring again.). We have a lot of nights that are as bright as dusk/dawn the whole night. Like at 2AM I can still see fine with sunglasses on.

But if I can't see and wear them, I'll put them in my pocket.

No name, no prize. Though it is nice to be remembered.

Hmm.. I remember wearing green OP Forest Armor a few times, and any time I had money I was probably giving it away. Yeah. I most likely wore the greenest thing I could find and gave away a lot of money on St. Paddy's.

Though the only creative writing that I ever bothered to type into a macro was;

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I porn surfed, weak and weary.
Over many a strange and purious pornsite of 'hot XXX glalore'.
While I clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning.
And my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour.
"'Tis not possible!", I muttered, "give me back my free hardcore!"

Quoth the server,
404"

Which I didn't write.

Nope. Not guilded any more. Though I'll be rejoining soon.

Another clue for anyone who's actually interested winning the (as yet undecided) prize.

Trust me, you don't want that. My eyes are extremely light sensitive, and I absolutely cannot be out on an even mildly bright day without darker-than-hells-maw sunglasses on. Sure, I have some badass shades, but I'd like to be able to take them off more often. My vision is fine - quite good in fact - but my iris (one in particular) has trouble restricting light (actually has a chunk missing, like a pie slice. It's pretty cool to look at). So, I can either wear the pirate-patch (Me: "Yar!" People: "You look like an idiot"), or wear sunglasses nearly all the time (People: "You know it's -night time-, right?"). Yeah, my night vision is wicked-good, but as soon as I catch an eyeful of some oncoming car's highbeams, that goes away in a hurry. Staring at this computer screen for marathon sessions doesn't help either, but I'm stubborn.

Wishing something like this upon oneself reminds me of when I was in school.. and in the middle of the winter (in northern MI at the time), there were always kids at the bus stop that were too cool to wear their coats when it was 15 below zero with waist-high snow. They froze their stupid asses off for vanity's sake, and the rest of us pointed and laughed. Nothing personal, just an example.

If you still really want f**ked up eyes, I'd be happy to trade you my messed-up hazel iris for one of your good ones. Either that, or I'll just stab it out with a spoon so that I don't have to deal with it anymore.

And this concludes the first and final episode of "More Than You Ever Wanted To Know About Decavolt." We now return you to our regularly scheduled secretive normality.

I have a lazy eye. Which means that I only see with one eye at a time, and the other is just peripheral vision. It's a great party trick to focus on someone and switch eyes back and forth. I can't see what it looks like because there's a split-second loss of focus when I switch, but whichever eye I'm not concentrating with stares at the side of my nose.

I would pick normal eyes over both of our conditions, but I'd rather have yours than mine. There's no hidden benefit to not having binocular vision; one of the greatest evolutionary steps humans made.

Lack of depth perception sucks.

I have somehwat binocular vision... After a slight accident with a dog, my eye sight got improved... Rather weird, as, if the bite had been as much as 2mm further in... it would have taken my eye out... :?
