I knew it was out their somewhere. I will not pretend that it is good, but it gives me the same type of chuckle that Cannibal Corpus lounge music did.

Afternoon Delight...Metal version.

I haven't watched wrestling in a long time, but a friend posted this Halestorm video "Mayhem" for NXT's Asuka. Her tassels and yellow outfit theme make me think of her as like an Asian Road Warrior, and she uses her booty as a weapon <3

Wrestling still doesn't interest me in the slightest but Halestorm and booty knocking people over...That I can get behind

Yeah, maybe if someone can cut out all the boring parts for me, and just make a music video of Asuka slamming people with her butt and doing her smexy crazy face thing, I'd be in heaven. Time to start youtubing >.>

This is a remix, rather than an original song/new artist, but I rather enjoyed this one. Going to need to look into more of his mixes.

I gave them a listen and it might just be me but it seems like the music drowns out the lyrics, couldn't really make them out besides being able to tell that someone was singing. Besides that it seems like a nice song.

I didn't have too much trouble with it, but I pulled up lyrics and read them as I listened to the song (I ... have a habit of hearing/mishearing weird things when I listen to music)

Play That Funky Music Rammstein DJ Cumberbund mashup. "Wild Cherry solicits the help of Metallica and Megadeth to help teach a reluctant Rammstein how to find their FUNKY JUNK."

Some of you might know that I work at a library. Summer is our big reading program and push to read, and combine that with a personal project I hoisted upon myself, I've been overwhelmed lately. I've been doing a graphic novel reading list to both fill a void (GNs are booming, and not many staff are into them) and to feed my own addiction in a two-birds-one-stone way.

I mention this because the task has yielded some interesting musical fruit I wasn't expecting. I picked up a graphic novel called September Mourning that showed up on my suggestions. Read it (it was decent. Not amazing, but not really terrible either), and when I got to the back, it's all "don't forget to buy my albums", and mentions that the character September Mourning is her stage persona, and that she got the graphic novel written to explain her backstory (like some sort of reverse cosplay; where someone made a cool costume, then wrote their own fanfiction to explain the costume). I'm not super impressed with the music either, but I thought it might be neat to check out.
