Checking the GridStream Status is almost part of my daily routine. If it's all Green/Normal it means it ain't broken.

The reason I wanted to post this (besides making my ego get larger) is because this is a recent addition to GSPs internal workings.

And yes, your eyes are seeing correctly. GSP is actually keeping an eye on Twitter and Facebook uptime/availability as well.


GSP may seem like a simple internet radio station but it's surprisingly more complicated than one might assume at first; and relies directly or indirectly on many things as you can see.

I was pondering showing a image of the forums as well. But there is little value in showing that it's also very internal. suffice to say that the GSP forums for GSP staff is at least twice as big (number of sub forums) as what regular forum members see.

Instead I'll show a image of what the Request List looks like to a DJ.
When a listener makes a request either via Gridbot in AO on the Live or Test server, or if somebody makes a request via the request form (available via a link on http://player.gridstream.org/ ) provided the DJ accept requests during their show (they'll let you know if they do).


Not much to explain about this. It's um a list of whom requested what, and that's it really.

If there are other parts of GSP inner workings that are worth showing off without any security/privacy issues then maybe more pictures may appear provided they are interesting to see or not (there's a whole bunch of boring documents and notes we have).

Maybe some of the DJs might want to show a capture of their DJ tools or similar.
Or maybe some of you listeners/fans want to show what you use to tune in with? How do you listen to GSP? Where do you listen to GSP?
