If you haven't checked out the item store today, these just came in:





It's called "Black Metal." The mask and helmet in the male picture is the Japanese mask and helmet the GMs just got. I didn't feel it necessary for the female version, but the male version comes with the same collar, and the collar doesn't work for me on the male version.

It isn't a uniform, so you can mix and match pieces.

I like both of the tops (m/f), but I think both of the bottoms are a little out there. Am I the only one who thinks the guy looks like he decided to make his armor at home and decided black swim noodles with spikes stuck in them could pass for hardcore? LARPing: You're Doing It Wrong. >.>

Eh...I can see your point on the male version, Cherri. But I really love the pants on the female version. My only real complaint on the f one is that the boots appear to be a lighter color than the pants.

I noticed that, too. And her undies region (except it's darker rather than lighter). Maybe they're subtle chaps. Or she's an urban superhero paying an homage to the heroes of old a la underpants over her real pants.

Female one is nice :-)

If you're allowed to mix and match that, there are pieces I definitely want to use. (the boots are too ridiculous...at least I hope those are boots and not part of the pants)

That looks like part of the pants to me Ash. I may just get the female version.

I'm a real big fan of the pants. I sent quite a bit of time cycling through all of my tops/coats to find wardrobe combinations

The two tops that seemed to work best with it in my ensemble were the black punk top and the black sleeveless ensemble. Was doing NMs, so I haven't experimented with many other colors yet. Might not go terribly with the GSP top too.

I should probably specify this was on Antu, since I've pretty much switched entirely over to her now.
