Kitty kitty... come here! >: )

After the cute part let me tell you that I'm going to boycott that new club, The Grind.

Why? The most fun part in that new club for me it was the catgirls dancers and the new drinks. For once that I was able to get a dance partner (huh) they removed the catgirls directly after the opening club party around halloween. They f*cking have to be kidding.

There is more npc dancers in baboon and relax bar (that means ONE trox in that last bar). I hated the fact that the halloween catgirl costume was temporary but at least I was saying myself "it's not that bad we still have the catgirls dancing in the Grind" There was not normal npc because if you checked out their t shirt on the back they owned a "The Grind" t-shirt.

Some times ago a player on rk2 took his "why not" placard and stopped playing just sitting down in front of the "not created" casino in omni ent. he wanted that place open and since the casino has an holo with catgirls he wanted npc in that place to serve drinks as catgirls. He was told that he should stop doing that because he will be happy to know they was going to open a new club even better than a casino. The catgirl part was there too. And now what?... :x

So "damn you are not happy just don't go there dude, useless to make that much drama about it" well yeah exactly.

It's just that I just wanted to explain why and say sorry to GSP and friends who will make any parties or events in the Grind but I will not go there until they add the catgirls back. I'm pretty not telling you to do the same as I do, lol, but just know it will be without me. Nobody care? I don't mind. ;P

I hate being played that way. Then I sent 3 mails to funcom asking nicely if they could place them back or at least a reason why they was removed, and ohhh surprise! I had 0 response.

You know what? F*ck off. If they add the catgirls back one day please let me know. Thanks.

Yeah there doesn't seem to be a reason not to have them in there.

I can understand doing something special for the Grand Opening, but extra animated polygons was the last thing that dancefloor needed just then. Now that the huge multi-level dancefloor is deserted between parties, this is when they could use a few dancing NPCs. I was considering making that place my new base of operations, with its bank, surgery station, GMS, convenient central location and all. Then I went back between parties and it was so depressingly empty that I decided to stick with the backyards.

Maybe the Grind Girls will show up at other ARK-hosted parties. Maybe if some Devs and GMs bring catgirls to the Christmas party, we can beg them to let the kitties stay. For now, short of camping out in Oslo, email is probably our best option. I sent one the day after the Halloween party and I'll probably send another after each big party.

It's also a possibility that they have a logical reason for removing them. They might have intended to leave the catgirls there, but when they saw how much trouble we had with the graphics overload at the Halloween party, they temporarily removed the easiest, most dispensable part of the problem, until the new graphics engine arrives to solve it. Of course, when the place is empty, the current engine can handle them just fine, but it was getting a little sluggish for me at First Light's party.

The best way to get an actual explanation is probably to pm Means on the FC forums once a week until he addresses it in his Friday with Means post. Emailing Feedback is a one-way road.

Perhaps with the patch today they will have perm Grind Girls? I can't check now since I am at work but maybe someone can take a peek now that the servers are up.
