Posted: Tue Mar 24, 2009 12:44 amFrom what I read on scifi.com, they're changing the spelling of their name to SyFy simply so that they can trademark it as they plan on expanding to Scifi Movies, etc. Which is apparently (according to them at least) un-trademarkable, but SyFy Movies would be trademarkable.
