To celebrate Ashval's comeback after a month and a half long hiatus due to our ISP being crap, I am finally posting the pictures from our vacation in May. We took a 7-day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean with another couple that are our good friends. It was a blast! Go to the URL below and select Eastern Caribbean Cruise 2008. As requested I tried to add as much commentary below each picture as I could.

Just going through them now and so far they are all fabulous.
BTW, towel animal number 2 is most assuredly a crab. (sorry Ash!)

She made that up. I never said it was anything but a crab. I'm sure of it. LOL

I loved the pictures, I am really happy you posted this. I have been wanting to take a cruise for years. After viewing this tho I think it would not be possible for me.. the scooter is too big too many steps and tight places...and I would run out of Depends looking for a bathroom. I am really looking forward to your next adventure.

Jugs, I wouldn't rule it out, we saw a lot of people on scooters on our cruise. Not many tight spaces, actually - you could get anywhere you needed via big hallways and elevator. Handicapped accessible cabins are also available and there were plenty of public bathrooms with handicapped stalls. Find a reputable, local travel agent that can find right itinerary and the right cruiseline/ship for you. The Royal Caribbean ships built in the last 7 years would be my suggestion. We preferred RC over Carnival. You'll want to plan this about a year in advance to get the cabin you want (especially if it's high season for where you want to go). I hope you do go, it's lovely.

Well, I would definetly go on RC they leave right from the port of Baltimore and that is right down the street from my house... I have even seen the Queen E 2 docked there a few years back...I do think I will actually look into it if I have the money after all theese freeking hospital bills. I am just glad I have fairly good insurance it at least covers about 80 percent but the other 20 percent is so over the top.... I had over 25k in the bank last year and felt great than this shit happend and that went bye bye really fast. so its budget time again...I figure if I had it once I may have it again and hell money should be spent no use saveing it forever.
