Hi, everyone! I've been back from my vacation for about a week and a half and wanted to share a few pics. To help speed up the paperwork/visa process (and because we're sickeningly in love), we decided to get married in Vegas. Don't worry, it wasn't last minute. We'd decided it before he even got to the US. After that we drove through Nevada, Utah and Arizona for a week. It was great, although I killed so many poor little animals with the rental car that it's horrifyingly amusing in a sick sick way. They just bound across the road at night!

We didn't get too many pictures of us together, but we pressed another tourist into photography service at the Grand Canyon. The one of me is also at the Grand Canyon. Doom's was taken with our rental car in Death Valley. (Dude... that place is HOT!!)

It was so hard to go back to work after being gone for so long. I just wanted to stay out there. Or maybe fly to Hawaii. Hell yeah.

Great News, you both look so very very happy, and well I am HAPPY for you . Vegas is one of my most favorite places on earth, I always thought I woulld have a 50th wedding renewal of vows there but ohhh well at least we did do one on our 25th but it was not in Vegas......OHHHHH and did Elvis marry you (you do know he is Dead right?) Ok well I guess some things that happen in Vegas follow us home....HAVE a great LIFE and stay HAPPY

Arizona sun in the summer is a killer and the Grand Canyon is just unbelievable in sheer size and beauty. I know everyone has seen pictures but they honestly can't do it justice. You have to see it in person.

Vegas, hmm? Hope it wasn't a drive through wedding, those are crazy so I've heard. I lived in Arizona for a couple years and know how hot it can get in the summer. I'm so happy for you two! May you have a long and happy life together.

Thanks, everyone! I think I'm starting to get used to thinking of myself as married. We're both very happy and still have that silly newlywed thing going on. Luckily we were sickeningly sweet before that, too, so hopefully it doesn't wear off too abruptly.

You know, I wanted to get married by Elvis, but with time and money being a factor, we went for a nice and simple chapel named Allure. Both the receptionist/witness and the minister were very nice. Hehe... and no, it wasn't a drive through wedding, although I did see a chapel for that and considered it... for about 5 seconds. I'm not horribly romantic and fancy, but I need a bit more than that.

And Stio.... he does have a wild beard, doesn't he? I swear... a plaid jacket and he'll fit right in here in West Virginia.

Dude.... the underside bumper (fairly low to the ground) even had a huge dent in it from an ancient bunny that I hit. Doom had to pop it out. ><
