Paper Sizes

I'm sure the GSP forums arn't the place to find what I need to know, but you never know. :) I'm putting my feelers out there in hopes that I'll get a nibble.

I just got a new art program called Manga Studio 3. Anyone familure with the program will know that new projects are opened based on the size of the paper intended to be printed on. Specificly it uses what appears to be a coded system that, I assume, professional manga artists would understand. Codes like, A4, B5, and so on. The problem I'm encountering is that I don't know what is frequently used in manga.

Does anyone know the sizes of the paper used in todays manga? Even better would be the code used for those sizes.

I took a photo of my favorate manga series in hopes that it might help. The Left is what seems to be the common size of today. The middle is a paper size that interests me. The right is a comic format that looks like an old mainstay of american comics.

Any ideas? Or even a direction?

Hah! I love Alita so much. :) But they never released the wall hangings I wanted. Basicly the cover of the middle book in the picture. That is probably one of my favorate pictures of all Alita. There's a few others that rank high, but that's my fave.

Oooh absolutely. Had that one as my computer wall paper for a while. It's a beautiful picture. Agreed... I would love to have that one on a wallscroll, too.
