I think this artist just managed to cross the uncanny valley!

I mean, look at that CG image in the first post.
If I saw that image in any other context, I would not have guessed it was CG.

Pretty damn impressive. The only clues to that it's CG is the hair. Apart from that, it's probably as spot on as you can get with today's technology.
