So Getting this started, heres a WIP Drawing of Dithyramb's Charecter ingame. I spent about 20-30m or so on the start of this during Dithys show tonight while killing zombies. Then a mix of the last 4-5 hours probably from there. Dunno possibly longer, really wasn't paying attention. Its Mostly 2B mechanical Pencil. I couldnt find my 9b and 8b's so I ended up using some charcoal pencil, both white and black. Also some Chalk crayons (not really crayons but they have a tiny tiny bit of wax in them for blending). Wasnt quite sharp enough so i cheated and used some .01mm sharpe. Still needs alot of cleanup and detail work but its a good start.

Hm, if we switched this to "post your artwork" to make it a little more general I'd be all for pinning it at the top of the forum.

And quite a lovely sketch you did. I can't wait to see the finished result.

I am not opposed to the name change, but I figured sketches was more friendly in the wording. I tend to feel that post your art work Implies a finished state, rather than sketches implies an in progress state or maybe something that your not 100% happy with but not opposed to sharing.

Moving along slowly on the sketch of Dithy, I am getting pretty obcessed with the small stuff but i am having so much fun WHO CARES
Pictures a little better this time still not right :\ I'll stop screwing around at some point and get some correct lighting for doing this stuff. Its on my list of purchases in the net few months. (i am kinda crap with a camera, but i am getting to the point I do enough pictures and stuff that I know my lighting is 90% of the problem)

Also included is a quick Attempt at the tentacle top hat, Nothing serious time wise a few minutes only, With Chalk Pastels, They sure blend Beautifully.

Along with what i was fooling around with on New years. A sketch of Raven La Faye's face, Was suppose to be working on hair, but I got engrossed in her beautiful face instead.

One last shot that i couldn't put on the other one due to attachment limit.

A kinda horrible picture of a sketch, Don't have the time or patience to fix the picture. Of Losty back. Rough blended with my finger only. Its actually quite a dark image. Honestly sometimes i think some of these sketches look much better when shot with a lower quality camera, since if you where looking at this stuff in person even at a comfortable viewing distance you wouldnt be seeing most of the strokes and sub strokes anyways.

Pretty much everything i have posted in here is done on a pad thats just a little bit larger than a standard sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" Which certainly doesn't leave alot of room for detail, considering i am using a .5mm pencil at the smallest.

Nice duddits, that all brush work, or a mix of brush/airbrush?

I had found a place in the past that sells lighting kits, for video work, so they are more than strong enough to diffuse for photography. Mostly I just need a strong diffuse lightsource from the sides and not a strong central source like a flash I was using for some of the shots. Was just the wrong lighting direction and not enough of it when I took the pic of dithys so it came out to dark, Despite the extended exposure time :\.
