just got a pattern made out of poster board that fit my body. cut the linen in that pattern then just glued it together. the body is really 2 segments of 7 layers of linen. with the bottom cut into those segments know as pteruges. Then took those 2 layers and offset them half a pteruges in legnth and glued that together. Really that is about all there is to it. It's an armor style from the 6th century B.C. and is surprisingly strong. Tests have been conducted and the armor can stop an arrow from a composite bow at point blank range.

it doesn't look like it, no, it feels like a plank of wood...and from tests that I have seen and heard about it could stop the arrows from the best bows of the day.

It's an invasion of little ones. In a couple months I'll have some alien pictures to post, too.

"So, did you bring back any souvenirs from Dragon Con?"
"Sure. Some fancy dice, a couple of boffers, a baby . . ."

You look like you would rather have been doing something else Mivat. I can almost see you thinking... "Is it time to go home yet?" lol

Very nice cam on that computer by the way.

So very true, Tasty. Last few weeks has been like crawling through hell butt naked in terms of workload, so yeah, my thoughts were pretty much just that.

And yep, I was pleasantly suprised by the cam. Very good for a built-in cam, but can't compare to the other ones we have (Logitech QuickCam 9000 Pro. Simply an awesomely good cam.)
