The worst of the ice storm has missed us in St. Louis. Just north of us and just west of us, things are a lot worse. So, hopefully no power outtages for me. *knocks on wood*
I may be retired, but I'm GridStream for life.

I wish I had taken pictures and when I told my fiance about it, he wishes he was there video taping it.

I had about a .5" of ice on my car in the morning yesterday. I couldn't even get into my car... I finally broke the ice up enough and pulled hard enough that I got the passenger side door open. I did the same to the driver side, but it still didn't want to open. Lots of ice pounding and pushing later, I managed to open the drivers door by pushing from the inside with my whole body. With the car on full blast heat to the windsheild it finally allowed for me to have a small hole to see out of the driver window, pass. window and the front window. Just for me to get to work and my manager call me to say we aren't opening until 11.... So I went back home.. Lather rinse repeat in a couple hours >.<

Looks better out today, but I think we are due for snow again tomorrow night?

Those of us in Alaska would like our snow back... so if you would all kindly pack it all up and send it back this way we would be very much appreciative. ( or something like that)
I have character.. lots in fact.. I just keep deleting it...

Sooner or later, everyone's sanity catches up with them... pray you're not there when it does... - Me..
