Attached is my new work desktop background. Have never seen an AO screenshot like this before. (and this IS a valid screenshot!)

Taken by DarkShikari, posted on AO Forums: This is a view of Elysium from the great stone bridge at the opening to Godstrand from the canyon of Enig. It is taken at absolute max details, 6x T3 AA / 16x trilinear AF, etc, with max view distance. Runs at about 20 FPS from this insane view at those settings, lol. Manually contrasted with MS Photo Editor.

He didn't say what video card he has yet tho.

I'd be interested in seeing if anyone can match or better that work, using ONLY contrasting outside of taking the screenie if need be.

The prize? Uh...you get to have your screenie as my rl work desktop, bwaha

my new comp has a x800pro in it, ill run something like this once i get my heatsink fan and some AS5, should be arriving in the next few days =D

Well if you read the postings, they said that the graphics engine is more CPU dependent than graphic card dependent, so I'm wondering if I can use my gs2 laptop card and try it out :-D

Sure Tarryk I'm up for the task of making a great screen shot. Though likely by the time I find a great place to take a screen shot like that I'll have forgoten and forget to take the screen shot.
