And Pirotess is a Dark Elf, not of any relation to Drow, or Night elves...

And YES There is a big difference.

Yeah, being that Dark Elves are just a ripoff of Drow. Drow are also known as Dark Elves...so it's not even that good a ripoff as far as the name goes.

Then again, they keep calling Deedlit a High Elf..but she sure doesn't seem like one, aside from using magic.

Drows are the D&D "Evil elves".

They have black or very very dark skin tones, and live often in the underdark (Underground drow societies), except for followers of the surface (And good) Drow Goddess of Dance and hunting Eilistraee.

They are Matriarch (Women rule...and men are for breeding, some high level roles, or plain warriors and slaves), and worship Spider gods and goddesses, the biggest being Lloth. Some drows who fail her are turned into horrible things, something along the lines of a spider legs and abdomen, yet a drow body and head.

Dark elves seem a little Matriarch (Pirotess has some sort of Dark Elf guard who punches a human who probably wants to fook her. ), and are tan or dark skinned, but not nessisarily Black.


Night Elves are the WC III creation, a sort of Wood Elf and a Drow/Dark elf.

Purple Skin, a sort of Matriarch society, except that its just lots of females and fewer Males, and more in tuned to Nature than Magic.


Deedlit is a High elf, or a Sun Elf (Tan/white skin, blonde hair), since while her magic is more shamanistic or something to that matter, shes a creation of the anime.

Yeah, but just in your own definitions, you can see that the "Dark Elf" really evolved out of the Drow...hell, the Drow are even CALLED Dark Elves quite often. The Dark Elves in anime and such rarely ever have anything explained about them, so it's generally accepted that they're supposed to be Drow. Hell, they even all have white hair like the Drow.

Night Elves are pretty much just Warcraft...

And as far as Deedlit, I say she's not very High Elfish because of a few things. One, she's always hanging around stinky humans. High Elves usually have a very hard time so much as accepting other races around them, let alone what she's no doubt doing with Parn... Also, High Elves are very rarely ever alone, because they're usually heavily dependent on magic...which is never good to have alone. Heck, they don't even wander in the forest that often.

Not even mentioning her personality that seems very out place for a High Elf.

I'd consider her a wood elf (I thought so at first) more than anything.

Lodoss War spoke of Mirror Elves, the most common elf type...perhaps only in the Manga, but that'd probably be deed.
