Cool affects in the vids with the fatality and all, but at the same time they just reinforce why I quit MMORPGs.... hitting on the same mob for 20 minutes to kill it it is just down right silly. I see AoC changed nothing.
I can't speak for endgame but I'm about 1/4 through the levels and the longest I have fought a mob for is about 30-40 seconds. If its not over by then there is a good chance your dead or running.
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.
20 minutes was an exageration in this particular case.
I'm just bleh with the whole hitpoint systems of these type of games. Which is sad for a nerd who use to live, breath, and eat, dungons and dragons, shadow run, everquest, ao, wow, fallout... and pretty much anything RPG...
I think Funcom is an awesome company and I am glad they have released what I see as being WoWs biggest, successful, competition. It's just not for me.
