The webplayer has moved, yet it really hasn't.
Posted: Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:47 amDue to restrictions placed on Torontocast (our service provider) by SOCAN due to pressure from the recording industry, our webplayer had to be moved to comply with license agreements.
For most of you listeners this will have no impact. player.gridstream.org will still be the url you use to tune in, but it will re-direct you to https://gsp.torontocast.stream/ instead.
player.gridstream.org will always point you to the right place in the future, just as it has in the past as well.
One key difference you may notice is that the webplayer is now on a https server, which means nobody can eavesdrop (looking at you NSA) on your naughty lines sent to the live DJs during shows. The webplayer and song info/history should have less hickups too, unlike the current GSP server which appears to have some gremlins (we're working on it, we're waiting for a bunch of big brooms to arrive from Mogwai Inc). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euhUfZGddwk
