You shoudl burn in a fiery caldron of hatered and seething misery for ressurecting such Things from the Past.

Now I got that goddamn theme song from teh Snorks stuck in my head....

The 80's are best left buried..in some deep smelly hole...where it can be forgotton again. Never let the spectere of the Thundercats....or the Scrappy Doo hour ever rear its ugly head and poison another generation....

I am thoroughly convinced that the 80s that peole who were like... 5 when it was 1985 lived through is NOT the same 80s that those of us who graduated highschool in the 80s enjoyed.

/comments that being crotchfruit of the 80s does not actually make one a "child of the 80s" and puts forth the argument that if you didn't graduate until the 90s that you were not actually a child of the 80s, but instead comprise the emo, 70s-loving children of the 90s set.

Or you can just simply listen to my show EVERY TUESDAY 8PM EST and hear nothing but this oldskool goodness. (selfish plug) ;) muhahaha

but boo you said it best right there "child of the 80's" yeah that'd be right, I was 7 in 1985, I was growing up all the goodness. If you were referring to someone who actually graduated in the 80's then that would be a "teen of the 80's ;)

At 7 you're quite coherant (sp?) of what you learn and what you grow up with and you remember it quite well. I know cause it's showing every week when I do my show, from my early childhood of about 5 and on I remember everything mom bestowed upon me that she loved about the 80's and now I pass it upon the rest during my show. Thus making me a "child" of the 80's hehehe :D

You can't forget about these... and if you don't know, you're missing the absolute best:

Thundaar the Barbarian: This show was f'in badass on a stick, with easily the best intro ever in the history of tv cartoons. I'll dig it out of my hd and post it, and you'll wet yourself.
Voltron: (lions, not cars. cars sucked) Also badass on a stick.
G-Force
Dangermouse: If you haven't seen this, for the love of god forget your computer and get your ass to the video store, now.
Jace and the Wheeled Warriors

*edit*
...and some cheese I forgot:
The Godzilla Power Hour. That one was cancelled in 1979, but was still being aired into the 80's.
