The Dallas Stars just annouced their upcoming Icebreaker for the new season. BUT, it's on September 1st, when I'm going to be on a plane to Atlanta for Dragoncon. Now, I love the GSP guys as much as I love my hockey team, but I have to growl about this. It's just not fair to have the Icebreaker and give the fans only 1 weeks notice!!!

And they should be more considerate and think about my plans before they schedule stuff like this, dammit! I guess I'm going to have to send them my calendar so they don't make the same mistake in the future.

But, if you happen to be in or around Dallas on September 1st, it's free admission and parking, and most of the team is going to be there to sign autographs, and there's free admission to the Tornados vs the Wildcats game. And they're doing tours of the locker rooms and stadium, and there's free Ben and Jerry's ice cream. It's at the American Airlines stadium downtown, and goes from 4-8pm.

If you happen to go, give the boys my best!

Bet the hotel doesn't have Turco, Zubov, and Lehtinen signing autographs. Or free Ben and Jerry's!!

Now I'm sure they have Ben and Jerry's . Or atleast there's a little store around that has it.

If not there's a liquor store and a hooters a block a way. Could pretend that vodka and wings are really vanilla and chocolate chip.
