I've heard a couple times before that the most common birthday is October 5th, and the least common is May 22nd.
But I can't seem to find any stats on the net. :/

Stupid Stats

Okay, I may be wrong here with the stats, but here we go:
Feburary is the less likely month for most things being that it is the shortest month of them all, being only 28 with the possible 29th day. Even then you are missling a potential 1 to 2 days (or 3) of anything to happen, this means that any particular major stat (i.e. crime, sporting, etc) is lessened because there are 1 to 3 missing days in the month or 24 to 72 hours missing. Granted though, it may be possible, that because of the missing time as we shall call it, the the occurance of an random event (such as a crime, accident, etc) is increased during the month being that there is less time to do it in.
So with that said, you may increase your chances to concieve a child in Feburary, but not Birth one.
Once agian, I can be ENTIRELY wrong because my stats is very limited (i.e. I use a program to do my stats stuff), and this argument can be entirely null and voice because I have NO CLUE what the hell I'm saying.

What you're saying is actually very sound if time were the only factor. However, there are outside influences at work as well, for example, weather. It was recently noted that a mini baby boom occurred in Florida just 9 months after a series of hurricanes tore through the state. People were bored. They had no electricity and really nothing else better to do, so... they did each other.

More babies are also born after harsh winter. Not sure what effect a harsh summer might have. Maybe you're less likely to do the deed because you're hot and miserable or your more likely because you're just plain hot.
All that being said though, time is still the larger part of the equasion. I wonder how the results might be effected if each month was exactly 1/12th of a year.
