Posted: Fri Aug 05, 2005 11:22 pmThank you, GSP! Just wanted to give some serious kudos to entire crew. I was amazed when I came across this, for lack of a better term, phenomenon.
The last thing I expected to find on AO was this, my first day in Borealis I ran by what looked like a rave in the middle of the street. I asked, "Should I even ask?". The response was "www.gridstream.org". Once I got it, I went over Foxy's show at Reet Retreat.
Just at the first show I was treated very well. Someone gave me party clothes and a mic. People helped with tips on getting through the game. I was escorted out when I got lost. Foxy even danced with me at the end of the show. I was hooked.
I have hit as many shows as I can since then. And have enjoyed all of them. I thought I had a broad appreciation for music, but I have now found more new music I am getting in to, groups that weren't even on my map. (Doom, what's Doom) I find myself copying down punk songs, doom, etc. to go find later.
I really believe you guys have brought more richness to Rubi-Ka. I am having fun on AO, but I am addicted to AO with GSP. I upgraded from my fr00b to subscription and all exp packs (Can't miss the party at Foxy's) Might have done that someday, but maybe not (hopefully Funcom knows this).
