I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with thanks (and by thanks, I mean turkey).

I am so thankful to be part of a group of people who just absolutely rock. Thank you for DJing, for tuning in and listening, for supporting the DJs, for baring your thighs ... etc.

Thank you! ♥

Much love,
Innari

Bahahah! I almost didn't even see that! :)

Happy Thanksgiving all! Even if you don't celebrate it, I hope you still have a great day.

Also turkey

And pie... there is no distraction from pie.. ...unless it's hypnotic bellies... hmm

I would also like to share my thanks for the bared thighs. It's the important things we should remember on a day like this. :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope to see some of you tonight at my show!

Dinner at my sister's was the usual cast of thousands and the chaos and mayhem that goes along with it. Still it all turned out. The dinner was fabulous. Then came desserts: Pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie and... pumpkin cheesecake. I was so full but I ended up having some of each anyway. :)

The hubby and I aren't really family people (besides, his is over in Scotland), so it's just dinner for the two of us. Still, that doesn't mean we skimp. We've split up the "happy homecooked meal holidays" so that I have Thanksgiving and he has Xmas. Last night was one of the hubby's favorite thankgsgiving meals so far (my choice of sides for last year was a bust). Since I don't cook often, certainly not from scratch, I feel proud when it goes really well. We had:

Fried tofurky roast (hubby is vegetarian) w/ sauces
Lemon maple butternut squash
Parmesan asparagus
Sour cream mashed potatoes (hubby said they were some of the best mashed potatoes he'd ever had and that means a lot cause he's a mashed potato addict.... /score!)
Fried potatoes
Homemade pumpkin pie

I feel very pleased with myself.

Hope anyone else celebrating turkey day had a great time, too!

Not sure I could do the tofurky, Cherri. However the rest of that sounds delicious. :)
