Yes indeed, this is a mucho-shiny trailer.

Too bad it locks my work system up and forces a hard boot at the very end...but it was worth the viewing. :)

Holy shit, it did that to you too?? I didn't have to reboot, but it gave my system a real work out :-/. DAMN QUICKTIME!

Yeah, right when the Serenity logo comes up near the end, it hits system resources HARD, stopping the movie and throwing all usage to 100%. My work computer can't take it, completely locks it up forcing a cold reboot.

I REALLY want to watch this trailer on my big monitor at home, but I don't want to even try it on my home machine. Think I'll wait til the real site has the trailer ready.

Your home machine can't be any worse than mine (assuming because my home machine is barely scraping minimum requirements to play AO). So I would have to guess it would play fine on yours as it does on mine. :)

This system is a close rival to mine at home, and I've even installed the latest quicktime to see if it was that: nada.

My guess: There was either a buggy download there for a while, or this is one of those reasons I hate current media compression techniques: Works great on one system, completely locks out another. Why can't everything just use mpeg? That always works fine on all systems (or doesn't work on anything at all).

Very freakin' aggrivated.

Ah, much better.

The highest quality quicktime is the same link to the buggy one, but the wmv works perfectly. Not as good quality, but more than enough to appreciate the trailer. :)
