I can officially take your blood!

Last night I did my first stick (drawing blood). Got it first try! Did the whole thing myself.. wrapped the tourniquet, swabbed with alcohol pad, stuck the needle, drew the blood, placed the cotton ball, pulled out the needle and applied the tape.

On a patient, not myself! I wanted to take a sample of the blood home in a syringe but they wouldn't let me, lol

Atleast Tristalyn won't be sleeping in my room at the Dragon*Con hehe. I just feel bad for Tk cause he might wake up with a couple of pints missing

i went to a hospitol in France in Dec and they had to take some blood. i was soooo terrified that the nurse started crying o.O

I HATE giving blood. Whenever every they try to draw blood the vein always blows out. My mom is the same way. They usally have to end up drawing it from back of my hand with burns like a mofo.

I love giving blood! heh...I know it sounds weird but I just think it's neat watching them draw the blood.

The one time I had to have blood taken...they had to corner me and pin me down...and then I promptly passed out. The Dani does not like the needles.
