So I'm currently unemployed and searching for a job. So the largest employer in the state is merging and they expect that between the 2 companies there will be 6,000 lay-offs nationally. So my parents tell me, "you better get really busy on finding a job before the glut hits!" Oh yeah, like a) I haven't been really busy trying to find a job and b) like I can just call "dibs" or something. "I'm sorry, you can't have this job, I was here first!!."

Sometimes I wonder what my parents are thinking.

ROFL...Yeah I know whatcha mean :/ My mom is like that sometimes. What are they thinking?!

Or you could quick get a job at that large employer... y'know cause who really expects them to fire based on seniority anyway! Pshaw
